1752, Joshua Collins (Ivan Kaye) and his wife decided to leave Liverpool, England to start a new life in America. Unfortunately, across the ocean was not made a curse that is upon the Collins family lost. Two decades passed and now the son of Joshua has become heir to Collinwood Manor. That's when this mysterious story begins.
Barnabas (Johnny Depp), son of Joshua Collins grew into a rich playboy who came to power in Collinsport, Maine. Everything went smoothly until Barnabas met Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green). Angelique is a powerful magicians. When Barnabas makes heartbreak Angelique, the witch is cursed Barnabas into a vampire and buried alive.
Two centuries later, Barnabas freed from the grave which has been in prison for him. Everything has changed and now Barnabas returned to Collinwood Manor, he found his palace has been turned into rubble. Is there nothing left of the Collins family? Apparently not. Elizabeth Collins Stoddard is still there (Michelle Pfeiffer), Dr. Julia Hoffman (Helena Bonham Carter), Roger Collins (Jonny Lee Miller), Stoddard Carolyn (Chloe Moretz), and David Collins (Gulliver McGrath).

Because the film is interesting, films of this genre of fantasy comedy makes me curious. This movie gothic nuanced and touching love story.
3. In what factor
Barnabas (Depp), hurt Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green) who worked at the family residence Collins, Collinwood Manor. Angelique who turned out to be a witch, decides to kill both parents Barnabas for revenge. Barnabas was disappointed that it turned into the hearts of Josette DuPres (Bella Heathcote), Angelique decided to kill the woman and cursed Barnabas into a vampire. Still failed to win the heart of Barnabas, Angelique instigated Collinsport residents who later imprisoned in the tomb of Barnabas.
Interval of 190 years after the incident, Barnabas was awakened by a worker who accidentally digging and found the casket. Driven thirst retained for two centuries, killing the workers and Barnabas returned to Collinwood Manor which is now inhabited by the latest generation of the Collins family. Met with members of a dysfunctional family and his nemesis, Barnabas adventure begins!

I want Barnabas turned into a human again, collins family business forward again and again prevail as it once was. and Barnabas and the family was living happily.
